Literacy sessions for parents/carers at Halley Primary School

Thursdays, 9.15-11.15 am – Workshop On Thursdays, Idea Store delivers literacy sessions for all parents/carers here at Halley.  These sessions help develop basic reading, writing and speaking skills. Parents/Carers are welcome to complete an assessment with Idea Store to gain a reading/writing qualification. For more information please speak to Mumina.

Helping Hands

Helping Hands for Halley (HHH), consists of a group of parent volunteers. The groups’ aim is to support the school to raise funds and to organise activities and events. Where appropriate, they also assist with practical issues.

Families Matter

Families Matter is a Tower Hamlets scheme aimed at raising achievement and realising aspirations. Their events feature speeches and workshops aimed at giving advice and guidance on how parents can help their children improve their learning and education.
