Admission and Transfer Procedure
Halley is a non-selective, state-funded, small, friendly one-form entry school catering for children from Nursery to Year 6, each class is able to accommodate 30 pupils. We also offer both part-time and full-time nursery provision.
The policy and arrangements for admission to the School are set out in the Local Authority's school admissions booklet 'Starting School in Tower Hamlets', which can found on the Tower Hamlets website.
A paper copy can be obtained from the Local Authority's Pupil Services Team on tel: 020 7364 5006.
During late Autumn and early Spring term we invite potential new parents to visit Halley in order to see what the School has on offer.
For our Year 6 Pupils in their final year at Halley, parents will receive information about transferring to secondary school for the following September. We will also hold a number of parent/carer sessions to support the process.
